Skullcano Island

Fenwick Ages (star of “the Curse of Ages”, my first comic for the Illyham Project ) and his 2-headed dog sidekick.

The Illyham project is an idea that I came up with, and developed with the help of my freind Steve. The concept is a shared universe ; one town in a swords & sorcery setting. The hope is that artists will come & post comics here, and as more and more come together colaborating & feeding off eachothers work; a world will sprout up.
Two 10 page comics are up already.

I’ve been lax about updating this website cause I can’t filter spam here or track traffic.
That said; I’m working on a little project that launches tomorrow. stay tuned for more.

The two most recent submissions were related; so I lumped ‘em both together. They’re sketches for another comic project that’s still pretty early in development.

Kill the Orcs
Slay the Ocrs
Destroy the Orcs
You returned late home that night
Evidence all around you from the fight
You see your family’s blood spilled on the ground
There’s no trace of the Orcs to be found
Take the broadsword in your hand
Follow the Orcs to their camp
You will have vengeance in blood
With their heads they will pay the price
Spill blood
On their trail we hunt them tirelessly
Spill blood
Bloodshed eases their loss
Spill their blood
Their decapitation leads to the cessation
Of the sadness, of the woe

Monday I’m going to see 3 Inches of Blood play, I’m quite looking forward to it. :)

Here we go: a new 30 Days Project
Last time arround, I only got one done… let’s hope I can do better this time (with slightly looser criteria).
This is a rough sketch of a secondary character from a comic I’m re-tooling.

My dad & I saw Gilbert Godfrey last night. Which just goes to show, if you’re a good comic you can make anything funny, that tiny little man had excellent timing.

I bailed on my bike today, locked myself out of my apartment & found out I’m going to miss-out on a trip to the Cayman Islands because of my new job.

In the plus column, LOST was soo good that I cried. Also; Patton Oswalt tomorrow :)

Blaaaah,
It seems like I never have time to update anymore. Here’s some recent stuff that happened or whatever.

Vegas, Baby! Went to fabulous L.V. for my 1st time last month, & got to hook-up with some good friends for a good time :)

JB3 even did a charicature of me & Mia :P

The Inkstuds artshow opened last friday (it was fun, you shoulda been there) & continues ‘till Feb 6th (check it out)


Here’s a piece I did for that called: Cave Girl (colour rough)

I’ve been swamped with work, but Imma make an effort to update more often in 2008. There’s more going on… like tonight I’m shaving my beard off for this 70s themed party. I’ve never had just a moustache before, I’ll try to get pictures.
